HOCKEY EDU

Hockey EDU & Total Athlete Performance will be hosting an 8 week elite summer training package. Ice & strength and conditioning sessions will be held twice a week for 8 weeks (15 hours of ice & 15 workout sessions in total). We will have 3 days off during the summer (July 2nd, July 28th, July30th) Summer of 2026 Hockey EDU sessions will cover: - Elite shooting, stick handling, passing, and skating techniques - Hockey IQ & situational decision making - Puck protection and composure - Offensive & defensive awareness concepts - Net front presence - Overspeed & puck carrying The Waunakee Ice Pond Address: 1110 Prairie View Dr. Waunakee, WI 53597 Total Athlete Performance: Players will have the opportunity to join semi - private hockey strength and conditioning from 11:00 - 12:30pm at Total Athlete Performance - Windsor (5-10 minutes down the road) Parents are responsible for making sure their skater has a ride to TAP if they plan on attending strength and conditioning sessions. Total Athlete Performance package will need to be purchased separately. Purchase page for TAP is on the camp page. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TAP SESSIONS NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY and are added in the calendar on the website, but are NOT included in the camp fees. The specificity/physicality of the game and the hockey stride can create strength and postural imbalances. These will be addressed throughout our training regiment, and built upon with specific speed, power, and strength development with a calculated approach. For higher performance on the ice, this summer our training will include the following: Restore Muscular and Postural Balance Become Faster and More Explosive Develop Strength/Power Improving strength, speed, and explosiveness should be the main goals of every hockey player year round.
