HOLIDAY CAMP PEEWEE SKILLS LAB & 3v3 CUP

HOCKEY EDU

Looking to keep your hockey player practicing and competing during the holiday break? Come join Hockey EDU's 3 day Holiday Camp (Skills LAB & Holiday Cup). Each camp day will consist of a high repetition skills session in the first hour, a 3v3 tournament session in the second hour, and a snack break/ice resurface between the two. This is a small group training environment with very limited spots available per age group. Rink Location: Mcfarland Ice Arena - Starion Rink Why the Starion Rink? Playing on a small rink has a lot of benefit to a hockey players development! Mini rinks create training environments where skaters receive a high repetition of puck touches. The small ice surface takes away time and space and players are forced learn to make quick decisions , stop and start, react to turnovers, think ahead with and without the puck, and to always be ready! The inspiration behind the Hockey EDU Holiday Cup came from some of Coach Claudia's favorite hockey memories. During her time in college hockey, her team would play cross ice during the holiday breaks. The 3v3 games created a low stress but high compete environment that changed up the pace and energy half way through the hockey season. Once the winter break ended, players felt refreshed, energized, and prepared to finish the back half of the season strong. Hockey EDU can't wait to provide the same training environment for skaters in the Madison area. We are looking forward to celebrating the holiday season with you!
